Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg

Race Recap: Hockenheimring – Porsche Cup Open Series

Welcome back to another exciting race recap from the iRacing Porsche Cup Open Series! This time, we hit the iconic Hockenheimring Grand Prix circuit in Baden-Württemberg. With a Strength of Field (SoF) of 2116, I started in 8th position and crossed the finish line in 6th, with 4 incident points.

I want to take a moment to apologize to a fellow racer for an unfortunate incident that happened during the first lap. At the hairpin, I accidentally made contact with the rear of his car, causing him to spin out. This was not intentional, but I was trying to avoid a fast-approaching driver behind me and moved over earlier than I should have. While I managed to avoid being hit, I regret causing the other driver to crash. I’m truly sorry for that.

Aside from this, the race was consistent and a lot of fun. Despite the sweltering 28-29°C temperatures in my living room, the experience on my full-motion D-Box simulator was nothing short of amazing. Every race on this setup feels like a masterpiece.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed driving in the race. If you do, don’t forget to hit the bell, follow my channel, or leave a comment. Your support means the world to me. See you in the next race!

Stay fast, stay safe!
