Welcome back to my website, fellow sim racing enthusiasts! I’m thrilled to share my latest adventure in the “Ringmeister Series” at the iconic Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This time, I took the wheel of the formidable BMW M8 GTE—a car I had never driven before.
After just three and a half practice laps, we dove into a three-lap race that turned out to be spectacularly thrilling. Starting from 22nd place, I navigated through intense battles and dodged multiple crashes to finish in a strong 13th position. This race was not just about speed but strategy, with close fights and drafting making every moment a nail-biter.
The immersion was taken to a whole new level by the D-Box Full Motion Simulator I was driving on. Every bump and turn felt as if I were actually in the car.
The setup was enhanced with the BMW M4 GT3 steering wheel by Fanatec, mounted on my Simcube 2 Ultimate Wheelbase and Simtag Ashley Hydraulic Pedals. Secured by the Sparco 6.0 harness, I was fully focused on the race.
Here are some highlights and stats from the race:
- Strength of Field: 2928
- Safety Rating Improvement: +0.2
- iRating Increase: +20
- Incident-free race
Sim racing has never felt more real, and I love this system more than ever. I can’t wait to share all the action-packed moments with you.
