First Race at Algarve International Circuit in the iRacing Porsche Cup Series
I just completed my first race at the Algarve International Circuit in the iRacing Porsche Cup Series. With a Strength of Field of 2401, it was a tough competition. Unfortunately, I accumulated 8 incidents, which dropped my Safety Rating by -0.12 and reduced my iRating by 7 points. I started in 12th position and finished 14th.
The track is fascinating with its many elevations and presented a real challenge. Despite two frustrating mistakes, the race was very interesting and fair. I particularly enjoyed competing with such fair racers.
