Grip Width
Measured across the thickest part of the grip where the hand naturally rests — thumb on one side, fingers on the other. Wider grips fill the hand more; narrower ones suit smaller hands or formula-style driving.
Grip Depth
Measured perpendicular to the wheel face — the thickness of the grip front-to-back. Deeper grips give a more car-like feel; shallower ones reduce hand fatigue on long stints.
Grip to Shifter
The distance from the centre of the grip to the centre of the shifter paddle. This tells you whether you reach with your fingers or move your whole hand to shift — critical for driving style preference.
