🏁 Back in the Porsche Cup – My First Race After 2 Months! 🏎️
After a two-month break, I finally made my return to the Porsche Cup in iRacing! This race took place at the legendary Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, and it felt amazing to be back in the competition.
I started from P14 with car number 23 and managed to fight my way up to P7 at the finish line. Unfortunately, I picked up four incident points in the penultimate corner, but it wasn’t anything major—just a bit of bad luck. The Strength of Field (SOF) was 2424, and I have to say, it was a fantastic race with fair and respectful competition, just as I’ve come to expect from the Porsche Cup.
What made this race even more special was the fact that I recently switched my pedal setup from Simtag Ashley pedals to the Simucube Active Pedal Ultimate (triple setup). It took some time to fine-tune everything, but now I’ve got them dialed in just right, and I’m finally hitting my braking points consistently again—which, as any racer knows, is absolutely crucial.
Being back in the Porsche Cup after all this time was an incredible experience, and I can’t wait for the next race!
