Indianapolis Motor Speedway

McLaren 720S GT3 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In my latest race in the GT Sprint Simucube series, I took the McLaren 720S GT3 for a spin around the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was a wild ride with a Strength of Field (SoF) of 2615. I started from P23 and, after some intense laps, managed to finish 22nd. Not exactly a huge leap, but progress is progress!

I picked up +0.13 Safety Rating (woohoo!) but lost 42 iRating (ouch). The race wasn’t without its drama—lap 20 was a disaster in the pit lane when the car behind me rammed into mine as I slowed for the pit limiter. Not fun! Overall, I collected 5 incidents, including a track violation.

This was just my second race in the GT3 class with the McLaren, and let me tell you, I’m still learning how to control this beast. I raced using my D-Box Full Motion Simulator with a 57-inch monitor, which made the experience feel super realistic. I’m having a blast but still need a lot more practice to fully master this car.

Despite the hiccups, the race was a lot of fun. If you’re interested in checking out the action, you can watch the full race video [here]. If you enjoy it, feel free to leave a like, subscribe, or drop a comment—I’d love to hear your thoughts!

See you on the track next week!
