🏁 From P22 to P10 – and iRacing tried to stop me! 😅
What a wild race at Road Atlanta in the Porsche Cup Fixed by Conspit!
Driving the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992), I started from P22 and fought my way up to P10.
One single incident, +0.2 Safety Rating, +21 iRating, and a Strength of Field of 2327 – not too bad for a race that almost didn’t happen!
Why? Because during the first qualifying lap, iRacing decided to freeze completely. OBS kept recording like a champ, but the sim just stopped working — you can see it right at the beginning of the video.
Now here’s the funny part:
This isn’t running on some old toaster. I’m talking AMD Ryzen 9950X3D, 64 GB DDR5, RTX 5090 Founders Edition, Samsung Pro SSDs, full D-BOX motion system, Cubic Systems BT-1 belt tensioner, Simucube 2 Ultimate, VPG Porsche 911 wheel, Active Pedals, and a 57″ monitor.
Basically… if this setup doesn’t run iRacing, nothing will! 😂
Still, once the race got going, it was fantastic. Clean battles, fair driving, and some lucky overtakes (okay, a few were “inherited” from other people’s crashes 👀).
But that’s racing – and that’s what makes it so much fun!

See you on the next grid. 🏎️💨
