After quite a long break, I finally jumped back into iRacing — this time in the Porsche Cup Fixed on the brand-new Shell V-Power Motorsport Park (The Bend).
The Strength of Field was 2594, I was Car #16, started from P18, and finished P17. Not the best result on paper, but considering it was my first time on this track, I’m actually really happy with it!
Unfortunately, there was a small Lap 1 crash caused by Netcode, but the rest of the race went fairly clean.

🏎️ First Impressions of “The Bend”
At first, the layout felt really strange — especially the long, flowing sections and the quad right-hander. But after a few laps, it actually became quite fun! Once you get into rhythm, the track offers a great mix of technical and high-speed corners.
🎮 My Sim Setup
I drove on my Full Motion D-Box simulator, this time even equipped with the Active Belt System by Cubic Systems — and wow, what an experience! The feeling through the belt tensioner adds so much immersion. Absolutely awesome!
💬 Final Thoughts
Even with the small Netcode incident, it was a great race overall. Getting back into iRacing after a long pause felt amazing — and I’m definitely hungry for more!
