iRacing GT Sprint Simucube Series in the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo at Interlagos

In my latest race in the iRacing GT Sprint Simucube Series, I took on the legendary Interlagos track in the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo. This was my third attempt, after two previous races that didn’t exactly go to plan.

I started in 12th position and managed to finish 11th, with four incidents and a strength of field (SoF) of 2051. Not too bad, considering the challenges I faced in the previous attempts.

The first attempt ended before it even began when my iRacing client crashed during the qualifying session, which cost me 100 iRating points. In my second attempt, just two hours later, I got taken out in Turn 3, breaking my front right suspension and losing another 100 iRating points.

Now, for this third race, things were going better, but I still got taken out by another driver. Was it my fault, or was it theirs? I’ll let you decide—watch the race and share your thoughts in the comments!

As always, I was racing on my D-Box full motion setup, with a McLaren 720S GT3 replica steering wheel, providing an incredibly realistic experience. The highlight, as always, was feeling the ABS kick in through the D-Box system—it’s just like driving a real car, and it adds a whole new level to the immersion.

I’m not the fastest driver out there, but I enjoy the ride—especially when I’m not taken out or dealing with tech issues! Those moments are what make it all worthwhile.
