Season 4 Kickoff in the GT Sprint Simucube Series – Silverstone in the Rain! 🌧

The first race of Season 4 is officially in the books, and what a race it was! Competing in the GT Sprint Simucube Series, I took on the legendary Silverstone Circuit in the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo—this time with a thrilling twist: rain. 🌧

It was my first-ever wet race in iRacing, having never encountered rain in my entire Porsche Cup career. I started P15 in the 40-minute race, but things quickly took a turn when I got spun out by a fellow racer in Turn 3. Despite the incident, I managed to hold on and finish P16 out of 24. Not the best result, but considering the conditions, I’m satisfied.

What really blew me away was the incredible immersion from my full-motion D-Box simulator. Feeling the ABS kick in through the pedals—just like in a real car—was an experience unlike anything I’ve had before. The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo performed beautifully in the wet, and the whole race felt like pure adrenaline from start to finish.

Overall, I gained 0.25 in Safety Rating but lost 13 iRating. No worries, though—there’s plenty of room for improvement this season!

Stay tuned for the next race. Maybe we’ll get some dry weather soon. 😉

Hey there, fellow speed enthusiasts! I’m Philipp, your SimRacing aficionado, and on this virtual race track, I find my therapeutic escape. iRacing is not just a game; it’s my medicine. As soon as I ignite that engine and immerse myself in the cockpit, the world fades away, leaving only focus and the thrilling hum of the car. I cherish these moments, and I hope my followers experience the same adrenaline rush through my videos. Join me on this high-octane journey, where every turn is a chance for excitement! Dreaming big, my ultimate life goal is a Porsche Experience Weekend at the Nürburgring, surrounded by like-minded individuals, whether in a Porsche Cup or a GT3 RS—I’m not picky, but a Cup car would be the icing on the cake. With an instructor by my side, of course, and the best part? All of it for free. I know, it sounds absurd, but hey, dreams are meant to be wild. Weekdays are dedicated to training, squeezing in sessions whenever time allows. Thankfully, it’s not an everyday affair; otherwise, it might lose its charm. Come weekends, you’ll catch me uploading a weekly race, either on a Saturday or Sunday. Buckle up and enjoy the ride on my channel—because here, we race with a dash of humor and a whole lot of fun!
